X Burlesque has been around for 15 years, and first opened at the old Aladdin casino — where it was given a last-minute opportunity when plans for a similar show with Carmen Electra fell through. X Burlesque has been going strong ever since and can now be found at the Flamingo.

The most provocative show on the Las Vegas Strip, X Burlesque, celebrates 14 years as the city’s hottest topless revue, with the addition of sensual new dance numbers at Flamingo Las Vegas. A high-energy, racy performance, the “Greatest Burlesque Show on Earth” features a variety of jaw-dropping performances by a troupe of Las Vegas’ sexiest and most talented dancers.

Sure, we’d never (EVER!) catch you at one of Vegas’s best strip clubs, or posted up at one of Sin City’s topless pools, but an old-school show where not only do the girls sing and dance, but also strip down until they’re… well, a lot like they are at the aforementioned pools, that’s totally cool, right? While tourists flock to Las Vegas for the gambling and the many options in world class food and drink venues, catching a show is still high on the to-do list. Back when Vegas was home to the Rat Pack, Vegas showgirls were what packed in tourists to all the major casinos.

If you get to “X Burlesque” early, there’s a preshow video in which Howard Stern asks the same question I always used to ask. “Who goes to burlesque shows?” Stern wants to know, interrogating “X Burlesque” dancer Chiara (Strzesiewski). “I don’t get this burlesque,” sidekick Robin Quivers chimes in. “Why not just go to strip clubs?” Chiara tries to explain there is no physical contact in the casino show, and that the “X” girls tend to be better dancers than most strippers.

It was 14 years and 5,026 shows ago that sisters Shakeera and Meeka Onstead began dancing their sultry numbers in Angela Stabile’s “X Burlesque” at the Flamingo.

Since Day 1, they’ve seen 76 other dancers come and go through the 85,000 peel-it-off undress striptease routines since that 2002 debut.

“X” certainly marks the spot as “X Burlesque” at the Flamingo becomes a topless revue to use innovative video-projection mapping on and over the bodies of its troupe of talented and titillating temptress dancers.

The “X”-citing new choreographed routines along with “X”-otic, barely there costumes have been added to the Flamingo sizzler to mark its 14th anniversary on the Strip.
